There's tragedy
Uchiha
in their blood
"You aren't my babysitter, little cousin." As if. If anything, he was the one watching over Itachi and Sasuke when they were kids. /He/ was the eldest. When they finally entered Itachi's chosen shop, he added, "You know, I may be paying for your dango addiction, but don't think I won't leave you with the bill tonight." Under the other's sharp eyes, Shisui doubted he would get away with it, but oh, he would try. (He never claimed to be the mature one.)

For a little while, Itachi just ignored Shisui as they walked into the shop and while they ordered. Then he looked back at his cousin with a slight little, knowing smirk. “If you try that, you might end up paying double instead of just the Dango.” The younger one warned, waiting for his favorite dango to be served.

Excuse YOU. Just because he had /standards/ did not make him any less desirable. Those so-called failed attempts were only a failure because he changed his mind -- and that was it. "For your information, Ita-chan, I only wanted a night of bonding with my dearest friend." Scowling deeply, he added, "But don't blame me if I leave your drunk ass sitting passed out at the bar, you hear?"

“That is my intention also.” Itachi replied back. “I suppose you mean leave your drunken self behind. Unfortunately, I tend to take responsibility for what happens to you, so it’s unlikely that I will leave you alone.”

"Whatever you say, Itachi-chan." He was /going/ to be responsible about it, but if Itachi didn't want to make sure they returned home safely, well, it looked like he and the other little cousin would have to go it alone. "Though I hope you aren't just saying that because you want to get laid tonight and you don't want Sasuke knowing. That'd be selfish." Somehow, he managed to get the words with a straight face, but it was a challenge.

The Uchiha raised an eyebrow at his cousin due to the last words he said. “You make it sound as if I would need your company to accomplish such a thing.” He smirks slightly. “Besides, I’m sure Sasuke has no problem with that task by himself.” Though he knew his brother was only his flirtatious self because he wanted to beat Itachi in terms of getting women but his little brother still had a long way to go if he wants to catch more adult females, instead of the young fangirls he always attracts. “Do you have those plans for tonight, cousin? Because if you do, I’d rather not be in the proximities to see your failed attempts.”

"And drinks after," he proclaimed, only half joking. He headed toward the door without looking back to check if Itachi was following. "We should bring little Sasu-chan. He's probably a funny drunk."

“Drinks after.” Itachi confirmed though he almost glared at Shisui when he mentioned his little brother. Having one, idiotic drunk was enough, so he really didn’t need two. “This is not the time to find that out. You can go and test him when I’m not present.”

Pfft. Dango was like currency with this kid. "Yeah, sure. Which stand or tea shop or whatever are we going to this time?" He was positive his sweets-obsessed cousin mapped out every establishment that served the treat, but he'll be damned if they didn't find something else to do after. Dango was good, but eating was not so thrilling of an activity.

Ah, always worked. “The one by the east gate this time.” Itachi closed the book and placed it by the small stand nearby to continue reading later. He knew that now he had to stick with Shisui until he decided to call it a day… or night. Possibly the second one.

✪✪✪✪✪✪ = Stop being so perfect

“Shisui, what you speak is none sense."

(( Shisui + Itachi friendship is the greatest, yo. ))

//I know! It’s absolutely perfect.

Rude. "Hey, don't act like I'm not your only source of entertainment around here." A disapproving frown was directed toward the text in his dear cousin's possession, but otherwise went ignored. Leaning his head back against the stiff chair and paying no mind to the wood digging into his skull, Shisui thought. And pulled a face. "We could go out drinking?" he suggested lamely.

“I have other sources, and they aren’t as troublesome either.” Itachi comments with a little hint of sarcasm. At his cousin’s suggestion, he stared back at him. “I would if only you knew when to stop drinking.” Then an idea occurred to him. “Though perhaps I could accept a bribe that involves some Dango.” And there was his more playful smirk.

Deep pouting - it was no fun if he didn't cooperate. Wasn't family supposed to allow themselves to be pelted with vegetable-fruit when one needed to ease boredom? "We should do something," he announced, ceasing the tomato strike at last. He was out of ammunition anyways.

Itachi did look back at him now. “Usually when you say ‘something’, it turns out into some form of unpleasant, not to say childish, activity.” He looked back down at the book he was reading. “At least on my end.”

He's going to throw Sasuke's newly bought tomatoes at him. Because boredom.

“…” Shisui is obviously bored and he was not going to indulge him. Or so he thought.
