kurai-haru:
“As well as I can possibly be.” She murmured dryly, although the quirk of her lips hinted that she felt rather pleasant at the moment. “Things haven’t been picking up — I’m just dying to get assigned on a mission of some sort.“ Not saying that she’d prefer to be out there, with her life on the line. Nor did it mean she was suicidal.
The roseate kunoichi was confident enough in her skills to know when to take caution and such. And missions always went fairly well.

"How have you been? Has Sasuke been bugging you, like usual? He’s always whining when you’re away. Saying that his older brother has ‘abandoned’ him.”
Listening to Sakura’s words, all he could do was smirk more widely at what she said. He remembers there was a time when she was shy and hesitant but look at her now, confident in her skills. Not that he doubted her either, because the Uchiha was well aware of her capabilities and he both respected and admired her as a kunoichi. She surely has come a long way.
“Perhaps we should trade places then. There has been nothing but missions for the last weeks for me. Though the others are glad for all the money we are being paid.” Especially Kakuzu because he keeps on insisting to donate a fifty percent of his earnings to charity. At the mention of his little brother being over dramatic again, which didn’t came as a surprise, he just chuckled once softly. That was Sasuke alright. Fighting with his elder sibling when he was around, and missing him when he’s not.

“I still haven’t seen my dear little brother but I’m planning on doing so after I have something to eat. I was on my way to the Dango Shop right now.” Itachi explained, looking away for a moment as one of the Uchiha clan members nodded and greeted him with a polite “Itachi-sama”. It was good to see that there were those who still held him in high regards after him leaving the village. Looking back at Sakura, he smiled lightly. “In fact, I could use some company. Do you wish to join me for some Dango. Sakura-san?”
